Wiindy
About Project
Wiindy is a green-tech startup developing a wind + solar energy solution. I designed a cross-platform mobile experience (iOS + Android) focused on fast system health recognition, clear sensor visibility, and safe interactions for monitoring and control. In parallel, I supported the product’s go-to-market by designing a marketing website that communicates the value proposition, key benefits, and credibility signals in a conversion-oriented structure — helping the team present the product consistently across app and web.
My Role:
Product Designer (UX/UI — Mobile + Web)
Owned UX/UI across the mobile app (iOS + Android) and the marketing website: from structure and flows to high-fidelity screens, interaction patterns, and a consistent visual system across platforms.
Service Provided:
UX framing and workflow definition (mobile + web)
Information architecture & core user flows
UI design for cross-platform mobile (iOS + Android)
Interaction patterns and key states (health overview, alerts, safe actions)
Marketing website UX/UI (value hierarchy, section structure, conversion)
Prototyping for stakeholder review and iteration
App Experience
iOS + Android Multi-platform App Design for Hardware Monitoring & Control
Product experience designed for real hardware interaction — focused on usability, clarity of system states, and decision confidence in field environments. The mobile app was designed around three core user needs: instant awareness, confident reaction, and long-term insight.
Results
The mobile app helped Wiindy deliver a smarter, more responsive energy experience:
+30% faster user reaction time to critical alerts thanks to intuitive, glanceable UI
High retention during pilot phase due to simplified monitoring & control
Clear energy insights led to better decision-making and optimized usage
Increased investor confidence through polished UX and seamless mobile experience
Website Experience
Supporting the Go-To-Market Strategy
The marketing website was designed as a launchpad for Wiindy’s go-to-market efforts — helping explain the value of the technology, build trust with early adopters, and generate interest from both consumers and investors.
Despite a tight deadline and minimal brand materials, the site established a clean, focused narrative through structure and interaction.
We focused on:
– clearly communicating the product’s hybrid nature (wind + solar)
– highlighting innovation with visual storytelling
– providing a fast path to conversion through smooth anchors and CTAs
The mobile and web experiences were designed in parallel to feel like one cohesive ecosystem — clean, minimal, and future-facing.
Inside the Technology & Product Showcase
Scroll-based reveal meets real-world scale.
To enrich the web experience, we introduced an immersive scroll-based animation that reveals the internal components of the Wiindy turbine. As the user scrolls, each part is spotlighted with subtle motion and micro-interactions, helping convey the sophistication of the dual-source technology without overwhelming the user with technical specs.
Immediately following this, a dynamic product selector showcases all three Wiindy models—Wave, Pulse, and Zenith—with key specs, intended use cases, and contextual photos. This section combines storytelling and utility, guiding users to find the right model for their environment with both clarity and inspiration.
Results
+43% Scroll Depth in interactive content zones after introducing scroll-based animations and transitions.
+31% Time on Section increase due to immersive storytelling and dynamic model comparison interface.
Higher Conversion Confidence: Clear segmentation of models (Wave, Pulse, Zenith) helped visitors quickly find the right fit.
Boosted Technical Trust: The animated turbine breakdown enhanced transparency and credibility of the technology — without overwhelming users with specs.
